The vote counting has started. Trends now indicate that India is leading with 26 seats, while the NDA, which aims to gain 45 seats, is leading with 23 seats.
According to ECI data, Maresh Ganpat Mhaske of the Shiv Sena leads by 19362 votes in Thane. Mumbai North, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North West, Mumbai South, and Mumbai South Central are the six constituencies that make up the capital city of Mumbai.
According to current trends, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is winning by 40,000 votes in Nagpur.
The INDIA alliance and the NDA are engaged in a fierce battle, according on early trends. In 23 seats, both sides are in the lead. The NDA alliance holds a 27-seat majority in the state, while the INDIA bloc holds 18 seats.
In Maharashtra, the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and NCP (SP) make up the Maha Vikas Aghadi, one of the strongest opposition groups facing the BJP and its allies. 14,507 people are working at 289 counting rooms and 4,309 counting tables in Maharashtra to count votes. Mumbai South had the lowest turnout, at 50.06 percent, while the Gadchiroli-Chimur constituency had the greatest turnout, at 71.88 percent.
Prior to the vote counting, security was increased at a few locations in Mumbai, the nation’s capital. At the Eastern Express Highway, security guards were actively patrolling and checking the area.
Initial trends from the ECI show that the BJP is leading at first place, followed by Congress, Samajwadi Party and the AAP.
