Ginger Hotel Opens in Nagpur as IHCL Strengthens its Maharashtra Portfolio

Ginger Nagpur Airport Road marks the expansion of Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), a prominent player in the hospitality industry in India. IHCL’s strategy to strengthen its position in India’s developing metropolises and important commercial hubs is reflected in the new facility.

It is well situated near Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Airport and has easy access to all major transportation hubs, including a recently opened metro line that serves the airport. Located at the intersection of business and pleasure, the hotel is a part of a mixed-use development that also includes one of the best shopping malls in the city.

Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President, New Businesses and Hotel Openings at IHCL, stated, “The opening of Ginger Nagpur Airport Road is a pivotal development in our strategic vision to tap into emerging commercial hubs across India. Nagpur’s growing importance as a business and political epicenter makes it an ideal location for our latest Ginger property.”

The 86-key hotel welcomes both business and leisure guests with a design philosophy that blends luxury and functionality. The amenities include a swimming pool, the latest gym, a meeting space for business gatherings and ‘Qmin,’ a famous all-day restaurant serving a blend of international and local cuisines.

With its latest acquisition, IHCL, which manages 34 hotels under the Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions and Ginger brands in Maharashtra, also has 11 hotels under development. The development demonstrates IHCL’s dedication to quality and growth in the hospitality sector while also improving its service offerings within the state.
